Arunachal Pradesh Trip is the most adventurous experiences in north-eastern state of India. It has borders with Assam and Nagaland to the south, and shares international borders with Bhutan in the west, Burma in the east and China in the north. It is predominantly a hilly region located in the Himalayan foothills. It covers an area of 83,743 square kilometers, making it the largest state in northeast India. Land covers 98% of the geographical area, with 80% of that being forest cover and only 2% being water. The Brahmaputra River is fed by a number of river systems in the region, including those from the upper Himalayas and the Patkoi and Arakan Ranges.
Many people in Arunachal Pradesh still wear bamboo hats with hornbill beaks, necklaces with wild cat claws, and the ‘Dao,’ a form of machete, as part of their historic tribal culture and traditions. There are at least 30 different languages spoken in the state, not to mention the various dialects, and there are 66 major and sub-tribes scattered out across the state.
Its tribes have a long history of artistic skill. Their ceramics, wood carving, and basket making all reflect the artistic essence of tribal art. These tribes’ main occupations include weaving, woodworking, and bamboo crafts.
It is a developing state, life in towns like Itanagar and Pasighat is similar to that of most developing cities in India. Rural areas have more topography, and life is similar to that of a village, but with gorgeous mountains, rivers, and scenic views. The vast majority of Arunachal Pradesh is densely wooded, with raging rivers. Drive to Dirang from Guwahati
* You will be picked up from Guwahati and directly taken to Dirang. A long drive of 6 hrs will take you to Dirang passing through greenery surrounding the roads and other tribal villages of Assam. Stop for breakfast on the way. Enjoy the smooth and breezy drive uphill to Bomdila, Arunachal Pradesh.
* On the way, you can stop somewhere to soak in the view.
* Have lunch in a village on the way. It will be almost evening so you will be tired from the long journey. Check-in at the home stay or hotel and have a nice sleep after having your dinner. - 2
Drive to Tawang
* Wake up early and have your breakfast. After that directly you will be taken to Tawang amidst the green terrace fields, valleys etc. but before that visit the beautiful Bomdila monastery. * Resuming your journey, you will pass through Dirang(which you will visit a bit on returning). In and around Tawang, there are numerous magnificent glacial lakes with crystal blue waters. During the winter, they remain frozen, but during the summer, they provide a sanctuary for migratory birds. * On the way, you will explore Sela pass, the very gorgeous Paradise Lake, Nuranang(jung) waterfall, Jaswant Garh memorial etc. * The whole day will pass by exploring the nook and corners of Tawang and its beautiful landscapes. Check-in at the hotel or home stay after the long day. Have your dinner and rest for the night. - 3
Bum La Pass excursion
* After breakfast, head towards Bum La Pass (India-China Border). Bum La Pass is also one of the four BPM (Border Personnel Meeting) locations between the Indian Army and the Chinese People's Liberation Army. You will pass through lots of bunkers, snipers, army canteens etc on that amazing height of the place. * On your return, visit the bewildering Sangestar lake(Madhuri lake). After enjoying the gorgeous vistas of the place, check out the Ptso lake. * Return to your stay place passing the splendid view of Tawang. You can go for exploring the local market if you want, otherwise rest at the stay, have dinner and call it a day. - 4
Tawang to Dirang
*After breakfast, visit the Tawang Monastery, the largest in India and second
largest in the world, a centre of Mahayana Buddhism housing priceless
manuscripts and a 28-foot golden Buddha statue.
* Begin your return journey to Dirang. This Come, cross through the newly constructed Sela Tunnel, an engineering marvel at 13,000+ feet, ensuring all-
weather connectivity.
* On the way stop at the 700 year old Chagzam iron suspension bridge. Then stop by the absolutely gorgeous Jung waterfall.
* The drive is equally mesmerising with snow peaks, waterfalls, and meadows along the way.*By afernoon, arrive at Rama Camp and relax amidst its serene

Dirang Sightseeing
* After breakfast, bid farewell to the high mountains as you descend into the lush plains of Dirang. Visit the Thupsung Dhargye monastery, the Dirang Monastery.
* Then head to Mandala top- a place perched at 10,000 where a giant buddha is surrounded by 100 manes and on a clear day you can spot highest peaks of Arunachal.
* Also, visit the Thembang village, 2000 Years old Ancient Heritage Village and 11th Century CE built Tribal Fort of Monpa Warrior Tribe. - 6
Back to Guwahati
* After breakfast, it’s time to bid adieu to Dirang.
* Before that you can buy some souvenirs form Bomdila market to take back as a memory with you. The long drive will take you to Guwahati. Your trip comes to an end here with lots of happy memories to cherish forever.
