Dirang (Kaziranga Tawang Tour Package) :

Itinerary

Guwahati to Kaziranga
- On arrival at Guwahati Airport / Railway station (pickup time will be fixed around 11am), we start our journey to Kaziranga National park, enroute you will visit Srimanta Sankaradeva Kalakshetra.
- Have lunch in between. After 4 hour's long journey reach in Kaziranga by evening. Overnight Stay in Kaziranga

Kaziranga Exploration
- Head to enjoy the elephant safari early morning and soak in the beautiful view sitting on an elephant back amidst the jungle (depends on safari association).
- Return and have a good breakfast and then it's time to head for Jeep safari. You will get to spot the exotic animals like one-horned rhinos, golden langurs, various bird species and many more.
- Have lunch and explore the orchid park, cultural performances and later head back to stay. After dinner call it a day.

Kaziranga National Park to Dirang (251km, 6hrs)
- After a heart breakfast, directly start your drive towards Dirang. This is going to be a long journey but a fun one crossing the beautiful plains of Assam, entering Arunachal. The views are going to be splendid.
- Stop on the way for snacks. Your ILPs are going to get checked in the entry points of the state.
- By afternoon, you will be already past halfway towards Dirang. Stop by and have lunch. Click pictures and reach Dirang by evening. Check-in at your property, have dinner and call it a day.
- You are requested to not waste much time and energy en-route (although we know you will be awestruck by the beauty around), as the following days are going to be magical and you will need your full energy to enjoy.

Drive from Dirang to Tawang (140km, 6-7hrs)
- After a good breakfast, start your drive towards Tawang. Although its a journey of about 140km, there will be multiple stop points for sightseeing, hence you will be arriving Tawang in the evening.
- On the way, your first stop is Sela pass located at 13,700ft. and is the vital link between West kameng and Tawang districts. Get down from your car and have tea, Maggie in the army canteen, clicking pictures in front of the welcoming gate of Tawang, enjoying the serene beauty of Sela lake.
- Your next stop is the Jaswant Garh war memorial dedicated to the soldier Jaswant Singh Rawat who bravely fought against the Chinese army continuously for 3 consecutive days before being martyred.
- On reaching Tawang, checkin at your property where you will stay. Rest for sometime and then you can walk around the lanes, cafe hopping if you wish to. Have dinner and call it a day.

Visit Bumla pass | Drive back to Tawang
- After an early breakfast, you will drive to Bumla pass, which offers a striking view of Indo-China border and one of the most offbeat high pass motor-able roads of India located at 15,200ft.
- The entire road to Bumla pass you will witness numerous bunkers, artillery practice by army and snowcapped mountains all around. This is also the highest artillery base of India.
- On return, stop at Sangestar lake, also known as Madhuri lake (The film Koyla was shot where SRK and Madhuri dixit enacted). Then visit the PTso lake nestled amidst the eastern Himalayan range. These two high altitude lakes of India offers magnificent view of the landscape.
- Return to Tawang and rest at the hotel for rest of the evening. Have dinner and call it a day.

Drive from Tawang to Dirang (140km, 5hrs)
- After your last breakfast in Tawang, pay a visit to Asia's second largest and India's largest monastery- The Tawang monastery. Get mesmerised by the awesome beauty of the architecture and landscape of the monastery and start your return to Dirang.
- En-route, stop by the magnificent Jung waterfall (Nuranang waterfall). You can spend sometime here clicking pictures and exploring nearby areas.
- On reaching Dirang, check-in at your stay property and unwind for the day

Drive from Dirang to Nameri National Park (160km, 4hrs)
- After your last breakfast in West Kameng district, drive to Nameri National park. You will witness beautiful landscapes.
- On reaching, explore the park on walk and enjoy the thrilling experience of river rafting in Jia bhorali river.
- Rest at your stay in the resort.

Nameri to Guwahati (224km, 4.5hrs)
- As you savor your last breakfast in Nameri, take a moment to reflect on the incredible experiences and memories you've made on this trip. The time has come to bid adieu to this enchanting journey.
- Upon arrival in Guwahati, you'll be dropped directly at the airport, marking the end of this incredible adventure. As you board your flight, carry with you the essence of Assam and Arunachal, wildlife adventure and the warmth of its people.
