Drive from Pokhara to Ghandruk | 1,950 m
Arrive in Pokhara early in the morning, around 8:00–10:00 AM. After a short break and breakfast, begin the scenic drive towards Ghandruk, one of Nepal's most beautiful mountain villages.
Situated at approximately 1,950 m, Ghandruk is a traditional Gurung settlement and a favourite among trekkers. Surrounded by spectacular Himalayan scenery, the village offers stunning views of the Annapurna and Machhapuchhre ranges.
Spend the evening exploring the charming stone-paved village, interacting with the locals and preparing yourself for the trek ahead.

Trek from Ghandruk to Chomrong | 2,150 m
After breakfast, begin your first full day of trekking towards Chomrong.
The trail winds through beautiful rhododendron forests, traditional villages and terraced hillsides. As you gain altitude, the views of the surrounding Himalayan peaks become increasingly dramatic.
After approximately 6–7 hours of trekking, arrive at Chomrong, a picturesque Gurung village perched on the mountainside.
Relax, enjoy a warm meal and soak in your first proper evening in the Himalayas.

Trek from Chomrong to Bamboo/Himalaya | 2,610 m
Wake up to beautiful mountain views and begin your trek deeper into the Annapurna Sanctuary.
The trail descends through dense forests before gradually climbing along the Modi Khola valley. You'll cross suspension bridges, pass waterfalls and walk through lush rhododendron and bamboo forests.
The day's trek takes approximately 5–6 hours, eventually bringing you to either Bamboo or Himalaya, depending on the group's pace and accommodation availability.
Enjoy a warm dinner and rest well—the biggest day of the trek is approaching.

Trek from Bamboo/Himalaya to Annapurna Base Camp | 4,130 m
This is the day you've been waiting for!
Start early and continue your ascent towards the legendary Annapurna Base Camp (ABC).
The landscape begins to change dramatically as you move above the tree line. The trail takes you through Machhapuchhre Base Camp, where you'll be surrounded by towering Himalayan peaks.
From here, continue towards Annapurna Base Camp. As you approach the sanctuary, the mountains seem to rise directly around you, creating a breathtaking natural amphitheatre.
After approximately 5–6 hours of trekking, arrive at Annapurna Base Camp at 4,130 m.
Take some time to celebrate the achievement, capture photographs and simply absorb the incredible surroundings.

Trek back from Annapurna Base Camp to Bamboo/Dovan/Himalaya
Wake up early to witness one of the most magical moments of the trek—the sunrise over the Annapurna range.
After breakfast, begin your descent from Annapurna Base Camp. Although you are heading downhill, the long descent can be physically demanding on the legs.
Retrace the trail through Machhapuchhre Base Camp and the forests of the Annapurna Sanctuary before reaching Bamboo, Dovan or Himalaya.
Today's trek will take approximately 7–8 hours.

Trek back from Bamboo/Dovan to Chomrong | 7–8 Hours
After breakfast, continue your descent through the beautiful forest trails.
The route takes you across suspension bridges and past waterfalls before reaching the familiar village of Chomrong. The return journey offers a completely different perspective of the landscapes you experienced during the ascent.
After approximately 7–8 hours of trekking, reach Chomrong and enjoy a well-deserved evening of rest.

Trek back from Chomrong to Jhinu Hot Springs | Drive from Nayapul to Pokhara
Today marks the final trekking day of the Annapurna adventure.
After breakfast, descend towards Jhinu Danda, home to the famous natural hot springs. Take some time to relax in the warm mineral-rich waters surrounded by the Himalayan landscape.
Afterwards, continue your trek towards the roadhead at Nayapul, where your vehicle will be waiting. The trek and drive combined will take about 6 hours.
Drive back to Pokhara, where you'll check into your hotel, freshen up and finally get some much-needed rest after completing the Annapurna Base Camp trek.
Board your bus/train/flight and return the same day to your home town after this memorable trek or stay back (at your own cost) celebrate, share stories from the trail and raise a toast to successfully completing one of Nepal's most iconic treks.
